  It is usually made of two layers of cloth for both the flies, but three layers may also be used for special purpose. The tent contains a small ridge pole, usually 6 ft length. There are two standing poles.

The outer fly does not extend to the ground but covers the inner fly only. All four sides have a door which can also be used as a canopy. The tent contains other amenities like windows, ventilators, pockets and hangars.
