Cotton canvas tarpaulins are manufactured by impregnating waterproofing compounds into cotton canvas. The water bearing capacity depends on the basic quality and strength of the cotton canvas used.

Standard qualities of the cotton cloth vary from 300 gsm to 610 gsm. Recommended grades are 450 gsm and higher for guaranteed waterproof use.
Tarpaulins can be supplied in and desired size. Eyeholes with metal rings are provided at the edges for tying.
