Consists of two layers of cloth.

Double Fly Officer's Tent

Both flies are made of two layers of cloth.

English Pattern Indian Police (EPIP) Tent

It is usually made of two layers of cloth for both the flies, but three layers may also be used for special purpose. The tent contains a small ridge pole, usually 6 ft length. There are two standing poles. The outer fly does not extend to the ground but covers the inner fly only. All four sides have a door which can also be used as a canopy. The tent contains other amenities like windows, ventilators, pockets and hangars.
